Deep Tissue Massage

Swedish Massage
Swedish massageis basis of massage with use of long gliding strokes, kneading, and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of muscles, generally in the direction of blood flow toward the heart, and sometimes combined with active and passive movements of the joints. It is used to promote general relaxation, improve circulation and range of motion, and relieve muscle tension. Various techniques used to decrease sympathetic nervous system firing and decrease pain perception, compresses and release the tissue.

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic drainage massage is effective for reducing certain type of edema resulting from acute or subacute trauma and from post surgical scarring along with encouragement of lymph flow.
TMJ Massage

We use intra-oral and external techniques to release pain, muscle tension, release trigger points and patient education, stretching, strengthening protocol included in TMJ program.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone is customized massage, with the use of smooth, heated stones that are placed on key points of the body. Hot stone eases muscle stiffness, increases circulation and melts away tension. The premise behind hot stone massage therapy is that the direct heat of stones relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist access to their deeper muscle layers. Combining hot stone protocols with full body massage provides a very healing and effective experience.
The hot stones also expand blood vessels, which encouraged blood flow throughout the body. The hot stones have sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote relaxation.
Myofascial release
Myofascial release focuses on reducing pain by easing the tension and tightness in the trigger points. The therapist will gently massage the myofascial and feel for stiffness or tightened areas.
Normally fascia should feel pliable and elastic. People with myofascial pain syndrome benefit from this type of therapy and who experience chronic headaches may find relief from myofascial release.
Orthopedic Massage
Orthopedic massage therapy is kind of massage focused on soft tissue injury rehabilitation. Some of the goals of orthopedic massage include decreasing pain, increasing ROM and preparing the body to return to activities of daily living. Condition that can be improved by orthopedic massage include Whiplash, tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, Carpal tunnel syndrome. Acupuncture
Acupuncture initial will include an in-depth health assessment, setting of the goals for the treatment, creation of individualized treatment plan followed by the acupuncture treatment.
Acupuncture follow up appointments will include re-assessment of the condition together with full acupuncture treatment (including various modalities, such as Cupping, Gua Sha, Electro-acupuncture etc).
Cupping Therapy is a very common modality widely used in relief of various musculoskeletal conditions and pain. Performed by attaching cups and gently pulling skin into the cup by creating negative pressure in it. It is used to detoxify the body, to improve blood and lymph circulation, and to release spasms, tension, and pain.
Gua Sha is another common modality used in adjunct to acupuncture. Performed by scraping the skin with a special tool and effectively used to increase blood circulation and lymph drainage, as well as to promote skin regeneration and relieve stiffness and pain.
Moxibustion is an external therapy which involves burning the moxa cones or sticks, made of Chinese dried mugwort leaves, on or around the meridians and acupuncture points. It creates a warm sensation in the area and is used to treat some sorts of chronic pain, some gastrointestinal issues, fatigue, asthma and other conditions.
